Announcing: Open Call & Art Jam


Open Call


This project was originally a collaboration of student artists but is now issuing an open call to artists willing to contribute their work. The project will be displayed in a public venue, either a museum or a place of public interest. Contributing artists will be credited and are invited to price their pieces for individual sale.

This is a collaborative, community-oriented art project that will look good included in any artists' resume.

Parameters
Shape:All compositions must be circular.
Size:Generally larger than 1" in diameter, and smaller than 4'
Palette:The project should be in primarily "earth tones," meaning greens, browns, dulled oranges and reds.
Substrate:Found materials (i.e., don't use a canvas; recycle something.
Media:Mixed. Paint, drawing media, and collage are all acceptable. Recycled collage pieces please.

Art Jam


The Envi-Able team, in collaboration with The Euphrat Museum of Art and Wise 37, will be transforming a lobby into a live-art studio for all comers, February 5, 2009 in the Campus Center at De Anza College. More info soon.
